Second Semester B.Ed. Degree Model Examination June 2025

The model (internal) examination schedule for the Second Semester B.Ed. Curriculum was scheduled on the 19th, 20th, and 21st of June 2025, before the commencement of the Second Semester B.Ed. Examination in June 2025. The schedule of the model exam is the following:  

Second Semester B.Ed. Field Trip Travelogue @ Vagamon

The field trip for the second semester of the B.Ed. Curriculum was a visit to Vagamon and Paruthumpara on 12th June 2025, organised by the  Pedagogiezz (B.Ed. Batch 2024-2026)   of the Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara. The journey started at 05:25 am from the college. Sefon Sanu Mathew and Joyal Joseph were the trip coordinators, and Dr Sony Mary Varghese, Dr. Mumtas S., and Dr. Velayudhan T. Nair are the escorting teachers for this field trip.  The field trip package was arranged by Thrilok Holidays & Packages, Komalloor, Chunakara. The trip started with a prayer by Joyal Joseph (batch representative of the Dyuthi College Union) after taking attendance. Some students joined the trip on the way at Mamkamkuzhy, Pandalam, Kaipattoor, and Peerumede.  The trip was travelled via the Tharakara-Mamkamkuzhy-Pandalam-Kaipattoor-Pathanamthitta-Ranni-Erumeli-Mundakayam-Kuttikanam-Peerumede route on the way to Paruthumpara. The breakfast was served o...

Visit to 'Padam' Degree Show 2025 Exhibition at Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts, Mavelikara

The representatives of the Peet Memorial Training College went to the Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts, Mavelikara, for the ' Padam'  Degree Show 2025 exhibition  from June 9-14, 2025. Seventeen students, along with Dr. Velayudhanan T. Nai, Assistant Professor of English, visited the college and watched various fine art forms.   Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts  is located in  Mavelikkara ,  Kerala ,  India . The college offers undergraduate degree courses in fine arts, including sculpture, painting, and applied arts. This government institution is affiliated with the  University of Kerala  and is under the administration of the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala.   The college was established by Rama Varma, son of   Raja Ravi Varma, in  1915 as a training institute. World Environment Day Celebrations 2025: Fish Tank and Classroom Cleaning

The National Service Scheme Unit of the Peet Memorial Training College organises the fish tank and classroom cleaning programme on June 5, 2025, at 12:10 pm at the college. Many NSS volunteers participated in this activity, especially as they cleaned the old fish tank in the College, and many small fish were deposited. They cleaned classrooms with various options. The programme ended at 01:10 pm.

World Environment Day Celebrations 2025: "Oru Thai Nadam" Programme

The National Service Scheme Unit of the Peet Memorial Training College organises the "Oru Thai Nadam" programme on June 5, 2025, at 11:30 am at the college. Dr. Alie Molly Verghis inaugurated the plant, and the students planted a variety of types of plants in different parts of the college. The programme ended at 12:05 pm.

World Environment Day Celebrations 2025: Talk on "END PLASTIC POLLUTION"

The IQAC, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organises the World Environment Day celebrations at the college on June 5, 2025, at 10 am. The  Environment Day Programme, led by  Dr. Mumtas S., Assistant Professor and the NSS Unit Programme Officer of the College, delivered a talk on "End Plastic Pollution." She introduces the negative impact of the use of plastics, which harms our environment and our Earth's ecosystem. She also emphasised that the teachers had to play a significant role in making our student community aware of civic sense and students being aware of environmental protection in our surroundings. Arya A.R. remarked on the vote of thanks for the talk. The programme ended at 11:30 am.

EAT @ PEET Food Festival 2025

The Dyuthi College Union of the Peet Memorial Training College organised the EAT @ PEET Food Festival, held on 3rd June 2025, at 1:30 pm. The programme began with a welcome speech by Dr. Sony Mary Varghese, Assistant Professor and Staff Advisor of the Dyuthi College Union. Dr. Alie Molly Verghis, College Principal, delivered the presidential address for this significant event. Mr. Jacob C. John, Headmaster of Bishop Hodges Higher Secondary School, Mavelikara, inaugurated the session by cutting a cake. Dr. Sony Mary Varghese introduced a new guest lecturer in the college. The judges evaluated the food items, and later, many students sampled a variety of them. The food items were categorised into six sections: Kerala snacks, fried snacks, desserts, cakes, pickles, and main courses. Reopening Day Worship Service 2025

  The Peet Memorial Training College held a worship service after the summer vacation on June 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The worship service started with a prayer by Rev. C.I. Jose, Vicar of CSI Christ Church and Bursar of Peet Memorial Training College, followed by worship led by the Religious Association. Mrs. Sneha delivered a message for the students and teachers. The worship service was concluded at 11:15 am.
