Visit to 'Padam' Degree Show 2025 Exhibition at Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts, Mavelikara
The representatives of the Peet Memorial Training College went to the Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts, Mavelikara, for the 'Padam' Degree Show 2025 exhibition from June 9-14, 2025. Seventeen students, along with Dr. Velayudhanan T. Nai, Assistant Professor of English, visited the college and watched various fine art forms. Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts is located in Mavelikkara, Kerala, India. The college offers undergraduate degree courses in fine arts, including sculpture, painting, and applied arts. This government institution is affiliated with the University of Kerala and is under the administration of the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala. The college was established by Rama Varma, son of Raja Ravi Varma, in 1915 as a training institute. It became a government institution after independence and was upgraded to Fine Arts College in the year 2000. The 'Padam' exhibition consisted of 7 galleries in various art forms, and the teacher trainees watched the inaugural ceremony of the programme from 11:49 am to 1:34 pm.
