DAY 09: 04.08.2025
It was the first day of my third week of school internship. I entered the school at 9:20 a.m., signed my attendance register, and went to the student-teacher staff room. In the first period, I spent time writing my lesson plan for the upcoming days. Mary Chanchal arrived with her mother. She taught the class for Class VIII B for the natural science class during the second period, and they met the headmistress, and they left the school. In the second period, I had a substitute for Class VII A, and I accompanied the students to the school ground for physical education with the help of the school headmistress. The student played games, namely cricket and football, from 10:10 am to 11 am. During the third period, I spent time completing the lesson plan. My first class of the week was held during fourth period from 11:50 am to 12:30 pm at Class IX B on the topic "Indian Federalism" under the chapter "Distribution of Powers in the Indian Constitution," Social Science I. I attempted to provide content to students in a bilingual format, which highlights the concept of federalism, its key features, and the division of powers outlined in the 7th Schedule. It was a satisfactory experience in which students were attentive during the class and completed the classroom activity during the teaching-learning process. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, we (including the student teachers from St. Mary's Women's College of Teacher Education, Thiruvalla) signed the attendance for today's forenoon. During the fifth period, I spent time writing my lesson plan for the upcoming days. In the sixth period, I had a substitute for Class IX B, and I accompanied the students to the school ground for physical education with the help of the school headmistress. In seventh period, I had a substitute for Class VI A, and I accompanied the students to the school ground for physical education with the help of the school headmistress. During the 8th period, I wrote the lesson plans for the upcoming days. We sang the National Anthem at 03:40 pm, and school officially closed. We then left the school after obtaining permission from the administration.
DAY 10: 05.08.2025
It was the second day of my third week of school internship. I entered the school at 9:10 a.m., signed my attendance register, and went to the student-teacher staff room. After the prayer song, I got the substitution for Class V A and spent time with students, and they wrote notes throughout the period. We got information on the timetable for the first terminal examination for the school students, and we discussed the current status of our workload and the upcoming strategies. During the second and third periods, I spend time preparing lesson plans and survey-related activities. During the interval, Mary Chanchal and I went to different high school classes to talk about the eco-ethics survey. My second class of the week was held during fourth period from 11:50 am to 12:30 pm at Class IX B on the topic "Separation of Powers: Legislature" under the chapter "Distribution of Powers in the Indian Constitution," Social Science I. I attempted to provide content to students in a bilingual format, which highlights three pillars of the government: the legislature, the executive, and the judiciary. Then I taught the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, two chambers of the Parliament. It was a satisfactory experience in which students were attentive during the class and completed the classroom activity during the teaching-learning process. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, we (including the student teachers from St. Mary's Women's College of Teacher Education, Thiruvalla) signed the attendance for today's forenoon. After lunch, Mary Chanchal C.R. and I initiated the survey questionnaire about eco-ethics as part of our school-based activity under EDU 12: Learner in the Educational Perspective. We completed all 15 samples allotted for us by the Mahatma Boys & Girls Schools' Teaching Practice Group during and after the lunch period. During the 5th and 6th periods, we spent time completing survey-related activities. During the 7th period, Mary Chanchal and I went to Class V A for substitution and spent time with students, and they wrote notes throughout the period. During the last period, we resumed our survey-related activities, and the class ended at 03:30 pm due to a staff meeting at the staffroom of the Mahatma Boys Higher Secondary School, and we left the school at 03:45 pm.

It was the third day of my third week of school internship. I entered the school at 9:10 a.m., signed my forenoon attendance register, and went to the student-teacher staff room. Before going for the prayer song, we just discussed today's activities, and I went for disciplinary duty with Karthika (St. Mary's Women's College for Teacher Education) for a while. Then I went to sing a prayer song with Abhja and Ansu (St. Mary's Women's College for Teacher Education). After the prayer song, I start writing related EDU 12: School-Based Activity Eco-Ethics scale results, mainly collected from the Mahatma Girls High School, Chennithala, during the first three periods. It was very confusing work regarding the results of 25 questions on five options, such as strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree, and strongly disagree. I had received 15 samples from the Mahatma Girls High School, Chennithala, to tabulate the survey results. My third class of the week was held during fourth period from 11:50 am to 12:30 pm at Class IX B on the topic "Legislation in India" under the chapter "Distribution of Powers in the Indian Constitution," Social Science I. This topic deals with the process of passing a bill and how it converts into a law or an act. This class also discusses various types of bills, such as money bills, government bills, non-money bills, etc., and the Constitutional Amendment and its methods. It was a satisfactory experience in which students were attentive during the class and completed the classroom activity during the teaching-learning process. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After entering the staffroom, we again went to the headmistress's room to sign our afternoon attendance. Again, I returned to the staff room and continued my tabulation work regarding school-based activity, and it lasted till the end of the 5th period. My fourth class of the week was held during fourth period from 11:50 am to 12:30 pm at Class IX B on the topic "Executive" under the chapter "Distribution of Powers in the Indian Constitution," Social Science I. This portion deals with the various branches under the executive and the importance of the prime minister and the Council of Ministers in the executive and the permanent executive. My social science teacher, Jyothi teacher, observed the class during 4th and 6th periods. I had the substitution class at Class IX B (took a rest during the interval) and completed this topic. It was an average experience, and some students disturbed the class, and some students received some minor punishment, such as standing up during the period, standing in the staff room, etc. During the 8th period, I completed my tabulation work regarding the school-based activity. We went to sing the National Anthem at 03:40 pm, and we left the school after discussing some future activities at 03:50 pm.
DAY 12: 07.08.2025
It was the fourth day of my third week of school internship. I entered the school at 9:10 a.m., signed my forenoon attendance register, and went to the student-teacher staff room. Before going for the prayer song, we just discussed today's activities, and I went on disciplinary duty for a while. Then I went to sing a prayer song with Abhja, Karthika, and Ansu (St. Mary's Women's College for Teacher Education). After the prayer song, I sit for a while, and we see the substitution list, and my first substitution is at Class X B, and I go to that class and manage the class throughout the first period. During the second period, I was sitting in the staff room and preparing for the upcoming classes. During the third period, I went to Class X A for substitution and managed the class through the period. My fifth class of the week was held during fourth period from 11:50 am to 12:30 pm at Class IX B on the topic "President of India" under the chapter "Distribution of Powers in the Indian Constitution," Social Science I. This topic deals with the importance, election, and role of the president in India according to the Constitution of India. It was a satisfactory experience in which students were attentive during the class and provided notes on this chapter. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After entering the staffroom, we again went to the headmistress's room to sign our afternoon attendance. During the fifth period, I went to Class VIII B for the substitution, and I initiated the Rubik's Cube activity for the students during the substitution. During fifth period, I spend it in the staffroom and make preparations for the upcoming days. During the seventh period, I went to Class VII A for the substitution for a while and again went to Class VIII C for the substitution with Mary Chanchal C.R.. The day ended with the National Anthem. I joined to sing the National Anthem with other student teachers at 03:45 pm, and we discussed the future activities and we left school at 03:50 p.m.
DAY 13: 08.08.2025
It was the fifth day of my third week of school internship. I entered the school at 9:10 a.m., signed my forenoon attendance register, and went to the student-teacher staff room. Before going for the prayer song, we just discussed today's activities. The school activities were officially started with the prayer song at 09:30 am. I had a substitute for Class V A students for a while till their class teacher arrived. Then I returned to the student-teacher staff room, and I met my social science option teacher, Mrs. Reshma Raveendran, who came to observe my class, which was scheduled during the third period at Class IX B. We discussed our past experience after joining the school internship at the Mahatma Boys HSS, Chennithala, and she talked to other student-teachers about their experience. Later, I prepared for the class with tension. During the third period, I had a class on the topics "Judiciary" and "Checks and Balances" under the chapter "Distribution of Powers in the Indian Constitution," Social Science I. This topic deals with the role of the judiciary in Indian democracy, the structure of the Indian judicial system, the importance, role and functions of the Supreme Court and the importance of checks and balances in the Indian democracy. It was a nice experience, and the students are cooperative during the learning process. My teacher, Mrs. Reshma Raveendran, observed throughout the period from 11:15 am to 11:40 am. After class, Reshma miss briefed me about my class and shared her observation note, and she left the school at 12 pm. Then I spent to preparing lesson plans for the upcoming class. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After entering the staffroom, we again went to the headmistress's room to sign our afternoon attendance. After lunch, I had no substitution and I utilised to write a lesson plan and other small tasks related to teaching practice. The day ended with the National Anthem. I joined to sing the National Anthem with other student teachers at 03:45 pm, and we discussed the future activities and we left school at 03:50 p.m.
