DAY 14: 11.08.2025
It was the first day of my fourth week of the school internship. I entered the school at 9:10 a.m., signed my attendance register, and went to the student-teacher staff room. We sang the prayer song at 09:30 am. During the first period, I had a substitution period at Class VII A, and students engaged in their academic activities. During the second period, I again entered Class VII A, and I brought them to the school ground for physical education. Students played cricket and football during this period. During the third period, I had another substitution at Class VI A, and students engaged in their academic activities. In the fourth period, I introduced a new chapter title, "In the Expansive Plain," which is under the Social Science II book. The first topic regarding this chapter is the formation of the North Indian Plains (more popularly known as the Indo-Gangetic-Brahmaputra Plains). The topic discussed the formation of landforms through geomorphic processes, including deposition, the formation of rivers, and the importance of the North Indian plains in Indian physiography. Dr. Mumtas S., Assistant Professor, Peet Memorial Training College, observed my class for a while. The class ended at 12:30 p.m., and I went to the staff room, where Dr. Mumtas S. shared her views regarding my class. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, we (including the student teachers from St. Mary's Women's College of Teacher Education, Thiruvalla) signed the attendance for today's afternoon. I called some students to ask them questions related to the previous topics I had covered. During the fifth period, I'm concentrated on my academic activities. During the seventh period, I had a substitution at Class IX B and played games in the school ground near their classroom. In the seventh period, I had a substitution period at Class VII A, and students engaged in their academic activities. At the eighth period, the Parent-Teacher Meeting was held in Class IX B, and I spoke with the parents of the students to share my experience and discuss upcoming class activities for the upcoming school year. We sang the National Anthem at 3:40 pm, and school officially closed. We then left the school at 03:50 pm after obtaining permission from the administration.
DAY 15: 12.08.2025
It was the second day of my fourth week of the school internship. I entered the school at 9:10 a.m., signed my attendance register, and went to the student-teacher staff room. Today, there is a school assembly led by Class VII A. They initiated a prayer song, a pledge, news reading, a quiz, and so on. Mrs. Vijayalekshmi, Headmistress, provided the message regarding the school activities. The assembly was dispersed by the national anthem. In the next two periods, I had activities related to the school internship. In the fourth period, I had a substitution at Class IX B on the topic "Indo-Gangetic-Brahmaputra Plain" and its major regions in the chapter titled "In the Expansive Plain," which is under the Social Science II book. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, we (including the student teachers from St. Mary's Women's College of Teacher Education, Thiruvalla) signed the attendance for today's afternoon. I called some students to provide some questions related to the previous questions that I had taught before. It continued till the 6th period. During the seventh period, I had a substitution at Class VII A, and I brought them to the school ground. At the last period, I completed the internship-related activities. We sang the National Anthem at 3:40 pm, and school officially closed. We then left the school at 03:50 pm after obtaining permission from the administration.



DAY 16: 13.08.2025
It was the third day of my fourth week of the school internship. I entered the school at 9:10 a.m., signed my attendance register, and went to the student-teacher staff room. We sang the prayer song at 09:30 am. In the first three periods, I spent preparing the questions for the upcoming Independence Day celebration. In the fourth period, I had a class at Class IX B on the topic "various regional plains in the Indo-Gangetic-Brahmaputra plains" and its major regions in the chapter titled "In the Expansive Plain," which is under the Social Science II book. It was a satisfactory experience that provided a new insight into the various plains that exist in the Indo-Gangetic-Brahmaputra Plain and its natural vegetation. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, we (including the student teachers from St. Mary's Women's College of Teacher Education, Thiruvalla) signed the attendance for today's afternoon. I called some students to provide some questions related to the previous questions that I had taught before. It continued till the 5th period. In the sixth period, I had another class related to "Brahmaputra plains and its features" in Class IX B. In the seventh period, I had a substitution at Class IX B. In the last period, I did our personal work related to our school internship. School closed at 03:30 pm due to heavy rainfall.
DAY 17: 14.08.2025
It was the fourth day of my fourth week of the school internship. I entered the school at 9:10 a.m., signed my attendance register, and went to the student-teacher staff room. We sang the prayer song at 09:30 am. Today is the school parliament election day, and some classes have a voting procedure. In the first two periods, I had the class at Class IX B, which was a substitution class that dealt with the various types of soil in the North Indian plains, human life, and agriculture in the North Indian plains under the chapter titled "In the Expansive Plain," which is under the Social Science II book. In the third period, I had another substitution in Class VIII A, and students did their classroom activities. In the fourth period, I had a class that dealt with the climate of the North Indian plains under the chapter titled "In the Expansive Plain," which is under the Social Science II book. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, we (including the student teachers from St. Mary's Women's College of Teacher Education, Thiruvalla) signed the attendance for today's afternoon. In the next two period, I had utilised the time to write paperwork related to the school internship. During the seventh period, I initiated an Independence quiz programme as part of the National Service Scheme programme. Around 21 students participated in the programme among high school students. Haridev R. of Standard VIII A secured first prize. In the last period, I spent writing school internship activities. We sang the National Anthem at 3:40 pm, and school officially closed. We then left the school at 03:50 pm after obtaining permission from the administration.



15.08.2025: Independence Day. Students, teachers, and the management celebrated Independence Day at the Mahatma Boys' Higher Secondary School, Chennithala. DAY 17: 16.08.2025
It was the fifth day of my fourth week of the school internship, and this day was declared a working day by the Government of Kerala for the high school students. I entered the school at 9:10 a.m., signed my attendance register, and went to the student-teacher staff room. Today, I had discipline duty in the school premises till 09:45 am, and other student teachers led the prayer song. In the first two periods, I went to Class IX B and revised the topic for the First Terminal examination. Students actively participated in the revision process. In the third and fourth periods, the school, associated with the National Service Scheme of the Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, organised the Fire and Safety demonstration class for the high school students led by the Fire and Rescue officers from the Mavelikara Fire Station. The class was led by Mr. Noushad and Mr. Arun (who are fire and safety officers). They elaborately demonstrated the steps to manage the situation with the help of a demonstration. The student actively participated in the programme, and it was a nice programme. Mr. Govindan Nampoothiri (HST, Malayalam) welcomed the session, and Joyal Joseph gave a vote of thanks to the session. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:45 pm to 12:55 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, we (including the student teachers from St. Mary's Women's College of Teacher Education, Thiruvalla) signed the attendance for today's afternoon. In the next two periods, I had utilised the time to write paperwork related to the school internship. The school closed at 02:45 pm, and students left the school. Student teachers, including me, joined hands with the teachers to make exam-related arrangements for the upcoming First Terminal Examination, and we wrote the roll number and class in various classrooms. We left school at 03:20 pm.
