Day 25: 08.09.2025 (Monday)
After the Onam vacation, the school internship was restarted on this day. I entered the school at 9:15 am and kept my bag in the teacher trainee staff room, where I signed my forenoon attendance. I talked with other teachers and teacher trainees about the Onam news and upcoming activities. The school had arranged a special assembly for the unofficial inauguration of the new high school block in the presence of the school management committee members, teachers, non-teaching staff, teacher trainees and the students. The special assembly had started with the prayer song by the teacher trainees, followed by the speech by the Vijayalekshmi teacher (Headmistress) and Mr. Mohanan Kannankara (School Manager). Then, teachers, students, teacher trainees, and others went to the proposed staffroom on the first floor of the newly constructed high school block and lit the lamp, accompanied by representatives of the school management, teaching, and non-teaching staff. They spoke for a while about the newly constructed building. Then, the staff meeting was held after the unofficial inauguration session, and the teacher trainees took control of the class for a while to decide on class allocation in the newly constructed classroom. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, I signed the attendance for the afternoon session. We spend time completing my internship-related activities. At 3:00 a.m., Abhija and I went to the school gate for bus duty from 3:00 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. We sang the National Anthem at 3:40 pm, and school officially closed. We then left the school at 03:50 pm after obtaining permission from the administration.




09.09.2025 (Tuesday): The District Collectors of Pathanamthitta & Alappuzha declared a public holiday for the Aranmula Utharattathi Boat race. The holiday was applicable throughout the Pathanamthitta District and in the Chengannur & Mavelikara Taluks of the Alappuzha District.
Day 26: 10.09.2025 (Wednesday)
It was the 26th day of my school internship first phase. I entered the school at 9:15 am and went to the student teachers' room, where I settled down for a while and kept my bag. I went to the headmistress's room and I signed my forenoon attendance. I returned to the student teachers' room. I got the first substitution in Class IX B, and I got the opportunity to teach my class on introducing a new chapter, Chapter 3: Land Grants and the Indian Society from the Social Science II. I had two substitutions in the 2nd and 3rd periods in Classes V and VI in common, and I conducted a mathematical test for the students to know their multiplication-related questions. In the fourth period, I had class IX B, and it was the observation time by the social science option teacher, Mrs. Reshma Reveendran, based on the ICT-Oriented lesson, and I reintroduced the topic of Land Grants in Chapter 3: Land Grants and the Indian Society from the Social Science II. It was a nice experience, which was comparatively improved with the last observation time. After the class, option teacher briefed me on the pros and cons of my teaching experience. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, I signed the attendance for the afternoon session. We spent time completing my internship-related activities during the fifth period, and I visited Class VIII C, IX A, and X A for data collection for my minor project, 'Awareness of Political, Economic, and Constitutional Aspects among Secondary School Students.' In the sixth period, I went to Class IX B and I conducted a survey. Meanwhile, my social science HS teacher, Mrs. Jyothi K.S., initiated providing answer sheets to students after the evaluation of the First Terminal Examination and discussed their overall performance. In the seventh and eighth periods, I engaged in the school internship-related activities. Due to an emergency situation, I left the school at 03:25 pm with permission from the Headmistress. The working day ended with the National Anthem at 3:40 pm.
Day 27: 11.09.2025 (Thursday)
It was the 27th day of my school internship first phase. I entered the school at 9:15 a.m. and went to the student teachers' room, where I settled in for a while and left my bag. I went to the headmistress's room and I signed my forenoon attendance. I returned to the student teachers' room. In the first three periods, I was engaged in the school internship activities by writing lesson plans, blog writing and survey-related activities. In the fourth period, I had class IX B on the topic of Indian Feudalism and irrigation activities in Chapter 3: Land Grants and Indian Society from Social Science II. It was an average experience that helped me improve my teaching skills, and students responded actively. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, I signed the attendance for the afternoon session. In the fifth and sixth periods, I was engaged in the school internship activities by writing lesson plans, blog writing and survey-related activities. In the seventh and eighth periods, I spent time conducting a survey for some students. We sang the National Anthem at 3:40 pm, and school officially closed. We then left the school at 03:50 pm after obtaining permission from the administration.
Day 28: 12.09.2025 (Friday)
It was the 27th day of my school internship first phase. I entered the school at 9:15 a.m. and went to the student teachers' room, where I settled in for a while and left my bag. I went to the headmistress's room and I signed my forenoon attendance. I returned to the student teachers' room. In the first two hours, I was engaged in school internship activities. In the third period, I had class IX B on the topic of Art, Craft & Commerce in Chapter 3: Land Grants and Indian Society from Social Science II. It was an average experience that helped me improve my teaching skills, and students responded actively. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, I signed the attendance for the afternoon session. During the fifth, sixth and seventh periods, the school had rearranged the staff room, and we helped them with the rearrangement. As part of the rearrangement, we (student teachers) had shifted the room to the Upper Primary level staffroom. The school closed at 03:15 p.m. and we left the school at 03:30 p.m.
