TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE I: WEEK 8 (15.09.2025-19.09.2025)
Day 29: 15.09.2025 (Monday)
The first day of Week 8 of the School Internship Phase I in the B.Ed. Curriculum. I arrived at the school by 09:10 a.m. I entered the school at 9:15 am and kept my bag in the teacher trainee staff room, where I signed my forenoon attendance. I returned to the student teachers' room. I had started survey-related enumeration activities with the students. Then I talked with other teachers and teacher trainees about upcoming activities. The school officially started at 09:30 am with the prayer song. During the first three periods, I was engaged in studying for the K-TET examination. In the Interval period, I completed my survey related to my project. In the fourth period, I was taught the topic of Social life during the Gupta period in Chapter 3: Land Grants and Indian Society from Social Science II. It was an average experience that helped me improve my teaching skills, and students responded actively. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, I signed the attendance for the afternoon session. During the Fifth period, I was engaged in studying for the K-TET examination and internship-related activities. In the sixth period, I was on discipline duty on Pusthakavandi, the book sale vehicle, and many students bought the books. In the seventh period, I spent time on the internship-related activities and the disciplinary duty for a while. In the eighth period, I had a substitution in Class IX B and taught the Position of Women in the Society. In Chapter 3: Land Grants and Indian Society from Social Science II. It was an average experience that helped me improve my teaching skills, and students responded actively. We sang the National Anthem at 3:40 pm, and school officially closed. We then left the school at 03:50 pm after obtaining permission from the administration.
Day 30: 16.09.2025 (Tuesday)
The second day of Week 8 of the School Internship Phase I in the B.Ed. Curriculum. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, I signed the attendance for the afternoon session. During the fifth and sixth periods, I spend time on survey-related activities. From the sixth period, interval and seventh periods, I completed the result analysis of the First Terminal Examination with the help of the spreadsheet (https://online.fliphtml5.com/ivrgl/foxy/). In the last period, I spent time on the survey-related activities. We sang the National Anthem at 3:40 pm, and school officially closed. We then left the school at 03:50 pm after obtaining permission from the administration.
Day 31: 17.09.2025 (Wednesday)
The third day of Week 8 of the School Internship Phase I in the B.Ed. Curriculum. I arrived at the school by 09:10 a.m. I entered the school at 9:15 am and kept my bag in the teacher trainee staff room, where I signed my forenoon attendance. In the fourth period, I taught the village administration during the Gupta period in Chapter 3: Land Grants and Indian Society from Social Science II. It was an average experience that helped me improve my teaching skills, and students responded actively. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, I signed the attendance for the afternoon session. During the fifth period, I spent time completing school internship activities and mathematics-related tasks at school. In the sixth period, I took the 'Arts and Literature during the Gupta Period', in Chapter 3: Land Grants and Indian Society from Social Science II. In the seventh and eighth periods, I was done with the office-related activity related to the School Kalotsavam. We sang the National Anthem at 3:40 pm, and school officially closed. We then left the school at 03:50 pm after obtaining permission from the administration.
Day 32: 18.09.2025 (Thursday)
The fourth day of Week 8 of the School Internship Phase I in the B.Ed. Curriculum. I arrived at the school by 09:10 a.m. I entered the school at 9:15 am and kept my bag in the teacher trainee staff room, where I signed my forenoon attendance. I returned to the student teachers' room. I had started survey-related enumeration activities with the students. Then I talked with other teachers and teacher trainees about upcoming activities. In the third period, I had a substitution in Class V A, and at this time, the students were involved in some learning activities. In the fourth period, I taught the Arts &Architecture and Science during the Gupta period in Chapter 3: Land Grants and Indian Society from Social Science II. It was an average experience that helped me improve my teaching skills, and students responded actively. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch for students in the school from 12:30 pm to 12:40 pm, and we had lunch in the student-teacher staff room. After lunch, I signed the attendance for the afternoon session. In the fifth period, I went to Class IX A and taught a physical education class on the topic "Food- Health-Happiness". This session aims to develop awareness about the relationship between food, health and happiness. I engaged the students by providing activities with students such as 'Freeze Dance'. During the last four periods, I spent time completing tasks related to the school internship. We sang the National Anthem at 3:40 pm, and school officially closed. Then I watched the parade of the National Cadet Corps and collected photographs as part of the school-based activity practicum. We then left the school at 04:00 pm after obtaining permission from the administration.
19.09.2025 (Friday): I took a full day leave to write the K-TET Category III level examination held at the M.G.M. Higher Secondary School, Thiruvalla, under the Thiruvalla Educational District.
