THE ROAD TO A SAFER YOU: ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS CLASS : CONSCIENIZATION PROGRAMME
The National Service Scheme unit is connected to the Peet Memorial Training College in Maveikara. The Mahatma Girls' High School in Chennithala hosted the "Road to a Safer You" Road Safety Awareness Class for high school students on October 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm. The training was structured in accordance with the third semester B.Ed. curriculum's awareness program. Ms Aiswarya M., a teacher candidate and graduate of Mahatma Girls' High School in Chennithala, gave the welcome address to kick off the program. The session's speaker was introduced by Ms Atheena Jailal. After that, a road safety video presentation created by the Kerala Motor Vehicle Department was shown. Mr Joyal Joseph (Teacher Trainee, Mahatma Boys' HSS, Chennithala) then gave the road safety lecture, outlining the fundamental traffic laws as well as the fundamental traffic etiquette and discipline that we should adhere to. Following the lecture, there was an interactive session. The vote of gratitude for the program was then given by Ms Sinu Sam. At 01:35 pm, the session came to a close. The Mahatma Girls' High School, Chennithala, teacher candidates conducted a road safety practical session at 3:45 p.m. A large number of students engaged fully in the lesson. The show concluded at 4:00 p.m.
