Day 12: 06.01.2026 (Tuesday)
It was the first day of the fourth week of my school internship, following the long interval due to the Third semester of B.Ed. examination and Christmas vacation. I entered the school at 9:15 am, signed my forenoon attendance in the Headmistress's room, and then went to the staffroom, where I had a casual conversation with the teachers. The school officially started after the prayer song. During the first period, I was engaged in school internship-related activities. In the second period, I got a substitution in class IX B, and I casually asked about the Christmas vacation news. After the interval, I again went to Class IX B for the substitution as part of the Internal arrangement. I taught the topic 'Gender and Sex' under the Chapter 'Towards a Gender-Neutral Society' under the Social Science I. The portion discusses the difference between Sex and Gender and how it has evolved a person's identity. It was an average experience, and students actively engaged in the learning process. In the fourth period, I was engaged in school internship-related activities. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch to the students, and I returned to the staffroom and had my lunch. After lunch and utensil cleaning, I signed the afternoon attendance in the Headmistress's room, and then I went to the Staffroom and had a casual conversation with the teachers. During the fifth, sixth and seventh periods, I was engaged in school internship-related activities. The school closed with the National Anthem at 03:15 pm, and I left the school with the permission of the Headmistress at 03:15pm.
Day 12: 07.01.2026 (Wednesday)
It was the second day of the fourth week of my school internship. I entered the school at 9:15 am, signed my forenoon attendance in the Headmistress's room, and then went to the staffroom, where I had a casual conversation with the teachers. The D.El.Ed. student teachers from the NS ITE, Mannar, joined for the 45-day Internship programme, namely Sreelekshmi, Vineetha and Abhinandh. The school officially started after the prayer song. During the first three periods, I was engaged in school internship-related activities. In the fourth period, I taught the topic 'Transgender and Social Stratification' under the Chapter 'Towards a Gender-Neutral Society' under the Social Science I. Students engaged the class and discussed how transgender was evolved and how it led to social stratification. It was an average experience as the class was noisy during the period due to the improper behaviour of some students. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch to the students, and I returned to the staffroom and had my lunch. After lunch and utensil cleaning, I signed the afternoon attendance in the Headmistress's room, and then I went to the Staffroom and had a casual conversation with the teachers and newly joined student teachers. In the fifth period, I was engaged in school-internship-related activities. During the sixth period, I again went to Class IX B and continued the topic with more details, 'Transgender and Social Stratification' under the Chapter 'Towards a Gender-Neutral Society'. During the seventh and eighth periods, I was done with my school bus discipline duty. The school closed with the National Anthem at 3:05 pm, and I left the school with the permission of the Headmistress at 3:55 pm.
Day 13: 08.01.2026 (Thursday)
It was the third day of the fourth week of my school internship. I entered the school at 9:15 am, signed my forenoon attendance in the Headmistress's room, and then went to the staffroom, where I had a casual conversation with the teachers. The school officially started after the prayer song. During the first three periods, I was engaged in school internship-related activities. In the fourth period, I taught the topics 'Gender Roles' and 'Gender Roles and Social Norms' under the Chapter 'Towards a Gender-Neutral Society' under the Social Science I. The class aims to attain an understanding of the meaning of Gender roles and how it applied in the form of a social norm in society. It was an average experience as the class was a little bit noisy during the period. Then I went to the kitchen and distributed lunch to the students, and I returned to the staffroom and had my lunch. After lunch and utensil cleaning, I signed the afternoon attendance in the Headmistress's room, and then I went to the Staffroom and had a casual conversation with the teachers and newly joined student teachers. In the fifth period, I was engaged in school-internship-related activities. During the seventh and eighth periods, I was done with my school bus discipline duty. The school closed with the National Anthem at 3:05 pm, and I left the school with the permission of the Headmistress at 3:55 pm.
09.01.2026 (Friday): It will not be a working day for B.Ed. student teachers due to the Third Semester B.Ed. Degree Examination
